Greg: may I ask about the time warner turbo? What is is? Also, what's the news on the seal or whatnot? I remember you saying something about possibly blowing a seal or something due to running low rpms for long periods.

A friend told me New Year's Eve that this small used car dealer near us had a "blue Monte with the flags on the side."
I drove past the next day to check it out, but no Monte. I figured he was nuts.:p
Today I drove past and spotted it! 2003 Pace Car for sure! It was not sitting out front for sale however, it was in the back beside the building with current/up to date license plate on it. I had to get my daughter to her doctors appointment, so I didn't have time to stop. Tomorrow I will be stopping in and getting the story. The car's less than 20 miles away.

Friday will be 4 weeks since I hurt it, 3 weeks since surgery. Its in a splint/brace so I can't use it. If I squeeze my fingers together like grasping something, my whole hand stings pretty bad. However, I no longer have to use pain killers to get through the day, since it only hurts when I try to exercise it.
Wednesdays I see a physical therapist, who basically measures if my fingers' range of motion has increased. He also shows my how he wants me to stretch/exercise them, which I have to do every day. Tomorrow I will also see my surgeon again, who I'm sure wants to check his handy-work, bad pun intended. LOL He checked it one week after surgery and now tomorrow, a total of three weeks later. Not sure if the stitches disolve (spelling?) or need taken out, I guess we'll see tomorrow.
Supposed to go back to work in February, so I hope the pain goes away. I drive a forklift and if my right hand hurts too much to operate the controls...I just don't know yet. My employer is not very sympathetic to their employees, so if I can no longer meet their production standards, I may lose my job. I always worry way too much about everything, so I may be fine.

 

Well, good wishes for tomorrow for you... I hope the surgeon has nothing but good news for you.

evening everyone!! i'm just making a cd right now... trying to listen to a song through bluetooth from my iphone just doesnt cut it ... im also kinda dissapointed that i made $4360.00 less this year so im setting out to find myself a new job.. monte finally got a tune up, new wires, valve cover gaskets, vacuum lines( the ones i was searching for forever) so shes running good now just gotta get some winter pics to post up for everyone
