My grandfather just woke me `up from my recharge (sleep, because one of his old friends drove up from West Palm....
His friend is in his mid/late 70's and is a old MuscleCar Addict,
and he still is ...WoW.
When I crawled outa my crib & got outside to the drive I seen his ride (one of four)....It's like the below one (All Black & Loaded: )
I've seen them on the web, but never got to see one in person...I'm not into 4doors, but I fell in `LOVE with his...
After we sat on the patio & had some ice tea & talked about his life & his rides, he ask me if I wanted to take it for a ride
I said" I would really like to go for a ride `if you have the time", and he tossed me the keys & said "Here take it, but here's my credit card & get it filled `up" Oh, then he said, don't be afraid to blow the carbon out, but please bring it back with some rubber left on the tires : )
*(Remember, I've been driving a old six cylinder GMC Beach Van that will barely go the legal limits : )
When I got inside & started it, it sounded like a Race Car with a Super Rumble to the exhaust.....I was surprise to see that it only had 7 K miles on it and is in showroom condition....
(it is a 5 speed auto), but WoW, I barely touch the gas & it put me back in the seat.....(The thrust is Amaz'in 4-Sure: )...
I did not burn the tires, but they hooked `up and pulled hard : ) I can't believe how super this ride is, and it's pure autoSex 4 real....*I think I'd need to change my shorts, if I really got on it ; ) I was excited, but not nervous...
I drove to the mainland for gas, and kicked it a few times, but
never abusively....There never is to much traffic on the roads, back to my place, but of course there was 2day : (
Oh, I did not even turn on the stereo, because I just loved listening to the sounds of this supercharged V8 and tuned Exhaust....It was music to my ears, and I have to admit the best fun I've had this year....
When I returned, we talked more, and he said that he might consider selling it in a few months...(He is always getting wild rides)...I said, let me know & if could afford it, I would be interested....He got a call & had to head back home...., but told my grandfather that he would be back in about a month...
I was going to post this in the Most Fun Thread, but I just had to share this with my Monte Carlo Family....
My grandfather, said that his friend would give me a good deal, but time will tell....I would love to have it...But, for now, I was just SuperSuperSuper `Happy to drive such a powerful Machine 4-Sure....
It's a drive that I will never 4get, & it made my day/year...
Can you tell that I was EXCITED

Pontiac G8 GT Firehawk by SLP World Auto News
SLP Performance Parts is literally breathing new life into the rather dying Pontiac brand. SLP has strapped a supercharger into the Pontiac G8 GT, changed a few parts and called it a G8 GT Firehawk. The Firehawk name has a strong following with Firebird enthusiasts.
Taking the standard G8 GT V8 engine SLP added a supercharger, stainless steel exhaust system and a cold air induction system. All in all the package returns a power figure of 500hp (373kW). The wheels are 19-inch alloys which are painted in gun metal grey with P245/40R19 Potenza tyres wrapped around them. They run on a sports suspension system.
There is no mistaking this car for something other than a Firehawk modification. It comes fitted with a black SLP rear spoiler, Firehawk badges, faux leather portfolio, floor mats and Firehawk embroidered headrests.
All this is available to the keen Pontiac G8 GT supporter with an extra US$18,995 on top of the G8 price. A stronger brake kit will add US$4,995 to that price.
Press Release:Firehawk, arguably one of the most legendary names in the history of Pontiac Muscle Cars is again united with a vehicle worthy of that unique badge: the 2009 G8-GT based Firehawk. Produced and available at SLP Performance Parts, Inc. (SLP), and select Pontiac dealerships nationwide, Firehawk offers the all-around powertrain performance, superior handling and braking, with headturning styling and value, true to its distinctive nameplate.
Following in the footsteps of SLP’s famed Firebird Firehawk is a daunting challenge. But one test drive will convince skeptics that the 2009 Supercharged Firehawk has recaptured and refined the special magic of the first generation Firehawk.
Available only on the 2009 G8 GT in any factory color, the Supercharged Firehawk’s performance and curb appeal are enhanced by a positive displacement supercharger, using the same technology as the supercharger GM supplies on the new ZR-1 Corvette, and highlighted by an aggressively styled flat-black painted hood treatment, reminiscent of early Muscle Cars.
To compliment Firehawk’s front-end appearance, the rear deck lid spoiler benefits from subtle but effective styling revisions, including a flat black paint finish. Helping transfer Firehawk’s power-to-thepavement are Bridestone’s P245/40R19 Potenza RE050A Pole Position tires* and the lightweight Firehawk 19″x8″ 5-spoke alloy wheels.
p.s. I had to pinch myself, to make sure this wasn't just another Wild Space Dream : )
I wish I would've taken pic's, but the experience is imprinted in my `Minds Eye 4-Ever : ) WoW

I would love to have it, but its still way out of my price range at present.. It's just great that this type of vehicle is still being produced....I can't even imagine having one to drive everyday : ) I'd have to buy tires every month, and I'm sure I would lose my license again...Oh, and Insurance would kill me...But, it was a real live dream & a major highlight in my life....I really love powerful/rear wheel drive/performance cars : ) And my dreams shall continue, and I shall keep working towards my `dreams....Speaking of work, I have to get going 2 work...Wish U & reader's a Fun/Happy/Eve....EnJoy

Wow. That's a super car Space. I've only ever seen it in pictures on the net. You were really lucky to get to drive it. It would be too expensive for me too. It looks like one of those cars that will slowly make it's way into GM's history of rare, and highly sought after collector cars.
Because it wasn't marketted as a "collector car", is the reason it will be. Ironically.
