Hey all. I just got back from "funeral for a friend". My first boyfriend EVER in high school, Jonathan, hung himself friday night. I didn't know about it until my friend, who is an EMT for the city told me. See here, they call ambulances instead of the coroner. They leave the Coroner for the inner city murders we have. I didn't tell anybody about it because well, I'm having a hard time digesting it. We were best friends even after the break up, but after graduation everybody went their separate ways except Christine and I. Well she called me and told me, I didn't believe her.... Until I saw it in the paper the following morning.

I dont know what he was thinking, like his father said "he wasn't". He too, turned into an alcoholic from what his parents were telling me tonight... the funeral is in the morning. I can't believe it. It really makes you think about life. All I can do is pray for his family... and his two little brothers who were his world... I remember when they were both babies!!!

 

Robyn I am sorry to hear about your friend. I hope the family, you and everyone that has suffered from this tragedy will find peace.

 

It's a long time coming for that. His two brothers will never be the same. His dad is taking it hard, his dad is a real dad and he's very close to all three of his boys. From what I hear everybody is coming unglued and I hope that somehow, everybody finds a way to recover. I can walk away from it easier than they can... but that by no means is to say that I'm not saddened deeply. It makes me think about life and those that are close to me... I love each and every one of my friends and I'm very loyal to all of them... and if anybody needs anything they always know they can call me and find me... but none of them do.
