Wayne I know you're going thru a lot esp with your mom, your sister, esp... i think everyone does a great job here. I think todd should be made a moderator he's always here, he's starting the blogs, etc... things that we talk about are daily life on the blogs, I pray openly for all of my family members that are suffering job loss / family loss / car loss / accidents / death / taxes. My life mainly consists of my horrible job. And my beautiful monte. And thats about it. I don't have any other friends BUT the boys on the forum well besides chrissy and dan and her little brother, but yea that's about all I have time for, and about all I can put on my plate right now.

Wayne personally I'm a big boy and if I read something I don't care for I just read past it unless I truely find some offence at which point as many have seen or read I will attempt to post my views tactfully as to not attact but express my point, I understand we are all differant in upbringing , personal faith or beliefs and what I find as to a moral limit may not be others. I like this forum regardless of some of the breaches with the exception of the **** bots I've thought it's remained within my breaking points. My youngest is sixteen now and knows she may see weird stuff on my laptop when she enters my sublevel cave mostely from the car domain members who message me for product but that in it's self is a completely differant language as well as membership. I'm on six to seven sites with my panels and graphics and not one of them have the forums we have here. It is alot of bland auto or what mods have you done type of stuff as well as trying to over do each other. I'm really on those sites long enough to respond to pm's and I'm back here. the off topic should remain a free rant within respectfull limits and a senscored approach should be lite allowing other members to police that thread. I believe the newbe's should be respectfully slapped with some limits if they are over the top otherwise this is my home site and as I said off topic should remain free speach....Jarhead

Nothing wrong with doing what is best for your family. Parents who truly teach their children, can and will give their children a better education than I can in public schools. I deal with 30 kids and have very little time for one on one instruction. I have to balance all of the issues that my kids face and all of the different values coming from their families. Keep up the good work and sounds like your kids are getting exactly what they need.

And Todd is an education professional. I trust his opinion more than anybody else's out there. I would never send my kids to a public school, ESPECIALLY not the one I graduated from or the one my Ex went to. They have the worst scores in the state consistently from the year he graduated until now. The classroom ratio is about 35:1 and personally I do not think you can get real life experience out of sitting in a room with your nose in a book all day. You gotta get "hands on".

Public education is like everything else. There are some really great things going on and great teachers and then the idiots who should never have become a teacher. I have had the great pleasure of working with both extremes of home schooled kids. The first set of kids were great. They were at least two grade levels ahead in their work. They were in school because their parents wanted them to be able to work in groups with people who were not as motivated as them. They were training them for the real world. The second group of students I am working with this year. They came to us as 8th grade students who could not even identify the letters in the alphabet. Some parents can and do a tremendous job for their kids and others cause them great harm. Sounds to me like Tim is doing great things for his family.

Here here! I 2nd that emotion. I am so not looking forward to shipping my Storm back Monday. I have fallen in intense like with this little gadget, despite the fact that I can only make a phone call on it when I'm on my bluetooth. I don't know if it's more me not wanting to let go of the phone, or me not wanting to spend the 30 bones on overnight shipping. LOL!
