I'm so jealous Todd. Uber jealous. Man if I had the money I'd fly to PDX right now... not too far from depoe bay. I have family that lives in Corvallis / Lebanon area. Wait... I do have the money!!! I just don't have the time!!! Oh well, gotta give up to get your dreams, that's for sure!
I'm replacing the passenger side wheel bearing assembly on the monte tomorrow. Better do it while I have the cash, and before it breaks on me while driving somewhere. It's getting pretty noticeably.... loud. So my dad's midnight black metallic (not an original chevy color but still pretty nonetheless) '01 Monte pace car / ss clone (I know, I know... tell HIM that) is up for sale right, and some idiot off craigslist emails me asking me if I can "remove the black and white stripes." First of all IDIOT, they're not stripes they're RACING FLAGS. 2nd of all... They don't COME OFF. They're part of the paint job, my dad buried them under THREE COATS OF CLEAR. They ain't coming off, and if you want me to TAKE them off, you're paying to have the whole car repainted. He's looking to buy the car for his 16 yo daughter? I was like dude, she should be driving a neon. This isn't the car for you.
I mean HONESTLY? Do people have absolutely NO CONCEPT of how much work goes into painting a car?!?!? I helped my dad with the project and laying down the vinyls, wetsanding, etc. Still not completely finished as there are rims and things that need mounted... but I told my dad if he can't sell it just keep it, I mean what girl wouldn't want 2 MONTES to drive right Amy?

i was just gonna say, im intriuged to see your dad's monte now, robyn
today was ok for the 1st half, sucks right now though 'caus we just discovered our 4 year old fridge just bit the dust, and alot of the food that WE JUST BOUGHT on sunday is no longer safe to consume. had to run to a friends house & use their spare fridge for whats left over, luckelly we are going to jersy with relatives for thanksgiving otherwise we would be REALLY S.O.L. aparently, our frezer that "never needs defrosted" just built up frost behind the interior of the unit in the channel that the cold air runs through, untill it blocked it off.
not much else, im beat from running around trying to figure out what to do with all our food.

Only he has the crap steelies on and the wheelcovers right now until he puts the chevy OEM SS rims on it and the racing flags are WHITE. No bowtie on the hood. It's NOT an ss.... It's an LS made to look like a pace car. I thought it was the most STUPID idea he's ever had, especially since IT'S JUST AN LS!!

OMG... Are you FREAKIN serious?!?!?! Well.... here goes our shot at another championship down the drain. WTF are they replacing big ben? Is the little wussyboy so hurt he can't play anymore, or are they firing his azz because he can't throw a football to save his life?
Edit: I'm watching Dexter on my new HD monitor. You know, that show from Showtime that I'm completely obsessed with. Love that show. Michael C Scott (Dexter Morgan) can try to murder me anytime. LOL. He's hot.
