How 'bout that ! A day off in the middle of the week! And then it's back to picking corn again on Friday afternoon! LOL! It's a paycheck right now.
Morning all!
I have an interview this morning for Welch's (grape juice). Pretty solid company, and only about 10 minutes from here. Hopefully something will turn up soon full time. But anyways.
Hope everyone has a GREAT week!

Good Morning Everyone!

Ryan, i'm feeling you on the 3 day week thing! Actually mine is like 2.5 days, because class was canceled on Wednesday, and i'm leaving work early to get a jump start on my drive to Vegas before the rest of the Thanksgiving traffic (at least I hope).

Wayne, good luck on the job search! That would be cool to land something with a well known, stable company!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning all!!!

Best of luck on that job offer Wayne

I myself have like a 2.75 day week. Going to cut out of work a little early Wednesday if I get my stuff done. But instead of the jump on traffic, I'll probably just spend a little time with the g/f before I head up to my parent's for the holiday.

I have a four day week so I don't want to hear it. I only have thursday off... but at least it's PAID!!! which is a generous thing for my company to do seeing as how they're grasping at straws!! My new house was BURGLED last night with my dad inside WORKING on it, we were demoing the kitchen, ripping the walls down etc. There was marble floortiles stolen, drywall... until after i talked w/ dad this morning and he pretty much caught them in the act. Now he's convinced that getting the new rottweiller was the right thing to do and now he and the dog are going to be staying on jobsite until the house is done. Talk about scary security system.

We're gonna turn this house into MCF Headquarters Pittsburgh (LOL!!!) Complete with a lot of nice free stuff off Craigslist. Can't beat it. As in free hot tub from my mom's friend from work (she "hates it"?!?) and it's a six person tub. Needs a part, which she has, and I'm pretty handy with a screwdriver and wrench so it's all good. Even if I am losing my job or even if I do get fired here really shorly, I'll just have extra time to work with my dad on the house and get things demoed. The kitchen is demoed, now we gotta rip up carpet thruout the rest of the place, pull walls down in the bathrooms and reframe them in... It's a lot of work but this house is huge and I bought half of it, so it makes me feel good to get my hands dirty.

Peace and blessings this week if we don't talk and throughout the holiday season from myself, mom, dad, sabrina (the schnauzer), Frankie J (the weener dog) and Beaux (the rottweiller).
