So starting in 1 week NJ will no longer have free gov't run public vehicle inspection stations. We will only have to be tested for emissions at private facilities and have to pay and the gov't gets a cut...

Well we got the Hankook Optimo H727's on my Monte Carlo and my parents minivan. I had a set of National Ovations before (Yeah, I'd never heard of them either) and they lasted about 30,000 miles... think the previous owner just put something cheap on the thing to sell it with new tires.
These Hankook's have probably twice the tread as those National's ever had. They're quieter as well, as I turned the a/c off (AAAAAAA, 100 degrees) for a few moments and turned the radio to mute, and heard nothing but a slight hum from the engine nad some wind. The Nationals would hum quite a bit. I haven't driven them on the minivan yet, my mother drove it, but those old Michelin LS4's would sing like an opry.
