Well, another few hours working behind the scenes and also checking out the new stuff everyone has to say.
Behind the scenes I'm trying to get through the many pages of How-To threads from the old forum. Trying to repair coding problems from the old forum. Repairing or deleting threads that were damaged by the server crash of 2008. Repairing or deleting dead links and pics. And so on.
But I don't want to bore you with all that.
I got the Phoenix vs Detroit game (hockey) on at the same time. Hoping Detroit goes down tonight.

Well got word today that our teachers union is seeking a raise in pay and that means if it goes through I lose my job. Can't believe these morons care more about money then the kids and education in general. People are suffering and they are seeking a raise. God I hate unions and being forced to belong to one.

Todd, a post-secondary educational facility (trying not to mention the name of the school) around here had a teacher's strike last year. Demanding a record-setting raise. With all the economic hardship in this area, they were about as popular as a lead balloon. But with the school year at stake, they eventually got what they wanted.
Good for them. Not so good for the students tuition though. School raised the tuition fee. Enrollment dropped in the fall semester.
