Got the Monte out last night for the first time this year and cruised Downtown Detroit and Belle Isle. The Detroit Grand Prix setup is well underway, most if not all of the concrete barriers and fencing are in place.

Now that's a great shot.
We should have a photo contest Called "SIGNS"!

We been having some nice weather here also, I think the Mid 70's yesterday too.
But getting time to work on the Monte has been difficult.
I had to get a couple of Crowns fixed and a Haircut and still the back problem needed another adjustment.
Plus the stuff the wife needs completed for Mrs. Bickersons Garden.

Good morning guys.

Our Club had our tour at the GM Heritage Center on Saturday. They have roughly 170 vehicles on the floor at their location and that's out of their total collection of 800 vehicles. The very last Monte Carlo built was sitting there on display; a red 2007 SS. They opened it up for us; it has only 22 miles on it. They also had an 84 SS and Kevin Harvick's 2006 stock car. It's a very unique collection; lots of GM concept vehicles, historically significant vehicles and classics all the way back to 1900. I would highly recommend a tour if you are ever in the Metro Detroit area but you need at least 30 people. Here's a few shots off my phone; I might post more of my pictures at a later time.

Well this has been an interesting week for sure. We traveled to Colorado Springs to see the Grandkids and daughter and son in law. About 500 miles door to door. So we finished diner, the wife is off to the bathroom.
Come back out and is all disoriented and is rushed to the Hospital, tests most of last night and today. They finally put a stint or 2 in her artery near the heart.

So maybe she will get out of the Hospital tomorrow.

Well a little update: Made it home from Colorado Springs and wife got released from the Hospital and then we had a long drive home. Doctor indicated he thought it was best she got back down from the altitude. We were at about 7 thousand feet there and more like 2 thousand here and that was reducing her Oxygen intake. they gave her some tanks of Oxygen to use at home.

Kind of a sad deal her Christmas gift from my daughter was a Taylor Swift concert in Denver.
So she had to cancel that for her trip home.

Good morning guys. Suppose to go up to 88 degrees today and will be in the low-mid 90s both Sunday and Monday. Unfortunately we aren't going anywhere for the holiday weekend (weather looks crappy where we would be going) but we may take the boat out somewhere local on Monday.

Gas prices here in SE MI are now averaging $3.11/gal.
