Default Little help on the intrigue

Been having some flickering of headlight, dash light ect, bat cables/terminals are clean and tight

took 2 vids it just barely does it in the first vid right at the begining, and none that i can tell in the second, i'll try to get good video of it soon

i just find it wierd becuase it seems to be all lights dim not just one or 2, and there is no effect in performance,

yeah i know i need gas, also have a ses due to bad gas cap...

I just did a quick search on the problem, and from what I gather it is due to the alternator. Some say it is the initial amperage draw of the smog pump turning on and others say it is a malfunctioning voltage regulator. In either case the solution was to replace the alternator. It is suggested to NOT get the Delphi (same problem all over again) and get a Bosch instead. One person also mentioned their alternator wiring harness had worn insulation and to check it closely.
