I've always helped with my grandmother. She lives in apartment downstairs in our house and shes getting older and foregetful and so on but still living independant. My dad's mother we had the same situation we decided she needed some help and we were going to bring her up here and put her in the nursing home my mom works at, my dad works at and many many family members have worked and some even stayed at.

as far as care goes i feel you very much. My grandmother that lives here has a very big family with quite a few children(my mom is one) and no one else with ever help out. We end up doing almost everything when she needs something done. Its sad that your sister is not willing to help out the person that raised her, just my opinion, best of luck Tad
