I think the whole idea is crazy, I'm going to come on out and say it. I don't want to make you feel like an idiot, I really don't... but you need to understand that 110 octane leaded RACING fuel is for cars that are MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH hotter than yours. Go to the drag strip on pro stock night or something and you'll see what I'm talking about. Supercharged, bored out, stroekd big block engines with Stage 3-4 cams, ported intakes, ported heads, and 2 foot wide drag slicks on the back that are putting 1000 hp or more to teh ground... THEY are the ones who need 110 octane leaded racing fuel, your 200 hp street engine with a stock or light street build is far Far FARRRRR from needing 110 octane racing fuel!!1

No man, its all good though, just trying to get some info on a "less than understood" topic here. But what Im really wanting to know here... Is there any type of fuel addative thats "worth it"?

There is no fuel additive that will effectively reduce KR, the only fuel additive I've ever used is SEAFOAM and that's only for cleaning out the fuel system. If you don't have a scanner, then you won't know that you have any KR anyway. Have you ever ran your car at the track?

And I have never belived in useing anything other than seafoam, LOL so thats good huh?
Do shops usually charge to scan for KR?
