Something that i have learned in my 43 years on this planet is to hell with pride. You cant feed, cloth, shelter, or ANYTHING with pride. How can i say that? I was homeless for 3 years. I have lived in doorways. Eaten out of trash cans. The hole nine yards. All in the name of pride.

Now that i have a family, i dont care about pride in a situation like this. I have to do what i have to do for my family to eat and stay indoors. even if it means welfare.

Military is out of the question for me ( I'm too old and i might end up ramming a tank up someone's rear flank ).

I have survived dispare in the past. Surviving this economy will be another notch on my belt.

 

This economy really does suck. The so called experts keep saying we've hit bottom. But everytime they say that, it gets a little worse. So I think the experts suck too. LOL.

I'm very lucky to have the job I have. 25% of the employees in my department were laid off back in november. Luckily I wasn't one of them. Merry Christmas huh?
