Cool

Good afternoon everyone: Hope your June 1st Friday is going well. TGIF right.
Anyway it is now warmed up, feels good after a cold and hard winter.
I got a chance this last weekend to visit a car show and see some real nice cars.
There is one this weekend also I am going to try to visit as well. Then on the 10th I have one that I will participate in will see if I learned anything over the winter, last year I don't think they even got to mine to Judge it, so this time I want to be there early to get a better spot. I thought last years spot was good too. had a few corvettes around me and some beautiful classics as well.
Still could have been over looked.

Good Morning everyone, another beautiful weekend here is the central part of the US.
Storms went through on Friday night and last night we were outside picking up sticks from the trees.
Found that a big branch had broken from one of the ash trees and part of it was on the roof, will need to call the tree guy for that.
There is just to much for me to handle on that one.

Good morning guys. Can't believe it's June.

We had a super busy weekend. On Saturday our new granite counter tops were installed in all the bathrooms and laundry room and I painted our master bedroom. Our big moving day was suppose to be yesterday (we have a moving company to move the big stuff) but it rained in the morning so they rescheduled for today. So in the mean time on Sunday, the wife and I got more of the smaller stuff moved in several trips. She started unpacking some stuff. I did some organizing and installed all new water shutoffs in all the bathroom vanities and the laundry sink. I will be installing our new bathroom vanity faucets this week.

We close on our "old" house this Thursday.

I had the Monte out on Friday, second time this year. My first car events are coming up quick: Livonia (June 10), Hamburg (June 16) and Monte Nationals (June 22-24).

Good morning guys.

Welp, the wife and I close on our old house today; the place we spent three months renovating into our home a little over two years ago. Got our final load of stuff including the Monte to the new house last night. Slowly getting the new house up to speed; new refrigerator and range delivered Tuesday and we had a roofing contractor out yesterday to take a look at doing a tear-off and replacement.

First car show is this Sunday so I'm excited. Then there's a little cruise-in on Monday afternoon/evening near the new house that I'll probably go to after work.

Cool Over 5 years on the MCF now!!

Good morning Monte Carlo Forum.
Well it has been warm here, I have been trying to get the Car ready for a Car Show this weekend, will see if I do better at it than I did last year. They have over 20 classes, but last year I don't think a Judge stopped and looked at the car. So this time I want to arrive earlier to get a closer place in the street line up, maybe that will help some?

On the Monte Carlo Forum side I think this is 5 years I joined in May of 2013 and it is now June of 2018 ( 2018-2013 = 5 ) and I should be up for a new badge on the title.

Good morning Gang. Its been a long few weeks for me working 3 weeks and weekends straight so far. Gotta work this weekend too. Maybe I can get a day in the coming week! Vacation is coming soon though. I haven't had time to enjoy the Monte Much other than trying to keep it clean.

I wish yall luck with the car shows!

Good morning guys, it's Friday!

Last night was the first night in at least a week that the wife and I had the chance to relax but we did take the chance to start getting the new house in order too. I've done a few commutes from the new house now and if I leave by 5:45-6 am traffic is decent and moves but man is traffic heavy heading eastbound I-96 into Metro Detroit. The evening commute is crappy no matter what time I leave.

Good Morning Mont Carlo Forum.
Hope everyone has a great day Friday and a nice weekend too.
I never enjoyed those commutes either.
When I was traveling in the last ten years the worst ones were in New Jersey, I think I saw a ten lane road there too, and everything is a toll road.
St Louis was kind of bad too. Usually our Hotels were close to the temporary office that it was short.
But what every you do stay safe!

It's been a while since I checked in last so here's my update. I've been working out of town for a few month so progress stalled on my project. Got some friends to help me overcome my biggest hurdle on the Monte Carlo the frame and the wheelbase. After spending too much time waiting on getting the parts and being turned down by a few people I did another first for me. Spent yesterday removing the body of the frame, cutting the SOB in half and put it back together. Got a few more pics taken of the process and todays plan is to get the body back on the frame and get my parking spots back. Emjoy the day my Monte friends.

Also threw my exhaust picture in the mix, that piece of bar stock and galvanized piece of metal is what I made the tailpipe s with because I'm to cheap to buy Boom tubes.
