Hey I started as a tool & Die apprentice and worked my way through shop management, to middle management all the way into the corporate executive management. Hot/Warm/Cold forging and stamping & assemblies. I'm basically an Industrial Engineerthat specialized in Quality and Operation Efficiency. 5S, Kaizen, Synchronist Organization, Sigma, TPS, QS9000, QS14000, TS16949, VDA1.9, Kan-Ban, Multi-MFG, etc., etc., etc... Now I finance cars... I hate working in a dealership, and love manufacturing, but what are you going to do...

RE: Jobs......
There are a lot of ways to do something like that, and it all depends on the final product you want and what materials you want it made of. You can start with that potting foam (floral design) and inexpensively construct/design the scoop how you want it to look. Then inexpensivelyhave a vac-mold made of it, and you have an instant fiberglass or carbon fiber mold.
For money, it can be designed in AutoCAD and then shot to a CNC Mill that can crave the foam -- if you are not good at craving foam.
But stamping dies, or injection molds cost a lot of money $,$$$,$$$
