Ford did well with this generation of Mustang, really sharp look.
But I apparently do not get along with Ford cars (first car I learned to drive on was mom '88 Tempo and the only time it ever refused to start was for me on two very separate occasions and oddly I have had some issues with my wife's '01 Mustang that rank a bit odd, guess I got too much Chevy in my blood lol).

I can top that - my 05 V6 Mustang's engine failed at around 1200 miles (and no I didn't abuse it either)! And that was my first Ford - and that 4.0 engine has been around forever too. Ford wanted that engine - so I got a new one installed and no problems after that.

At least they took care of you, that's the important part. It may have taken them a while to get you again as a customer, but memories of good service mean a lot.
BTW - The thing I hated when that Temp refused to start and quite honestly played "possum" and all electrical shut off, it had those stupid auto-seat belts (the should part rode on a track in the door pillar). And when the power died, it was in mid travel, I banged my head on it getting out. It NEVER did that to anyone BUT me (and on two occasions). OH and I forgot to mention one day I closed the door, began walking to my destination, two steps and I heard glass crash, the glass for the mirror fell right off the mirror housing. Seriously, that Temp *REALLY* had it out for me I think.

Nice mustang, I cant wait to see what you do to it.
Did you ever hear why the engine failed? I had a rear axle snap right at the hub in my s10 and you could see signs that it was faulty so the shop contacted someone from GM and they came and picked up the axle and paid for the repairs.
