I'd call it a work in progress. I know you Amy. You won't be happy with stock. The modding will begin as soon as you get it home. Although I did vote for Sapphire.

I'm not worried about the sunroof leaking - my 03 is almost 10 years old and doesn't leak a drop. It's also getting installed by a professional shop that the dealership only uses.
I don't think the car has paddle shifters & I think the manual mode will use the gear shifter to change gears - kinda like what Mopars have.
Scary to say but I already bought some mods for it even before I got it LOL! Right now since the car already comes with a cold air scoop from the stock airbox I'm just going to get a drop in K&N. Next year I'm going to do CAI with a tuner and maybe some different gears. I'm also going to a muffler shop and getting them chopped off & weld some straight pipe in with some nice 4" stainless tips. I'm probably going to get a Mach 1 looking hood graphic and possibly a scoop for the quarter window - kinda like the 69 Mach 1. I also have to save up for some winter rims and tires but that's pretty much for now.

I think every one should own at least 1 v8 in there life. I have owned many but would still like a modern one at some point.

 

I would actually like to own an old V-8 - kinda like a 455 under the hood of a 70-72 Olds Cutlass/442.

 

But did your Monte come with the sunroof from the factory? 99% of aftermarket sunroofs develop leaks sooner rather than later... Just tryin to look out. Don't get me wrong, I have a moonroof on my Honda, from the factory, and it hasn't leaked a drop.
