I loved the Dukes of Hazzard when I was a kid. But when I grew up and found out the thousands of 1967-1969 Chargers they destroyed, I just can't watch re-runs of that show anymore.

But maybe it's just me though. I'm sure people out there love seeing cars get wrecked.

Thanks for posting man! Looks like an interesting movie.
Hey Taz; I tend to agree with you because I love cars too. However they are still going to do what they do whether I watch or not. I usually wait until they come to video and then just buy it.
As far as the Dukes of Hazzard are concerned the cars were 1968,1969,and 1970. The 67 was a different body style. Though still cool. The general was a 69 Charger. They converted 68 and 70 models to look like 69's. For comparison the black Charger in Bulitt was a 68 and the black Charger in The Fast And The Furious was a 70.
I own the entire Dukes collection on DVD. I hate that they wrecked so many cars but Daisy Duke sliding across the hood of the general. Oops I just drooled all over my keyboard.

I have lost all faith in Hollywood - no imagination so I'm not sure. I would have to hear more about it - if it has a decent story line and not the same sorry movies Hollywood keeps releasing.

I'd have to agree . . . anymore, car movies are getting redundant, especially the 7ish fast and furious movies (sorry chevyboy ) Having said that, I'll probably still end up watching the next fast ***** movie just because of the HUGE cliff hanger they left at the end of the last one.
