I remember seeing this on TV a while ago. They showed some really grusome pictures and video of some of the diseased devils. It's not looking good for the wild population. Some experts are expecting that pretty soon only those living in captivity will survive.

I know most people are only familiar with the cartoon character. Here's a couple pictures of the real thing (healty). They are roughly the size of a small dog. But are notorious for being ravenous feeders. Also, because they're scavengers, they are one of the worst smelling animals on earth.





I used the second one as a sig pic for a while. The first one was going to be a sig, but I never used it.
