i'm Back
not that my absence was noticed but i had sold my 2000 white LS to my younger cousin about 4-5 months ago...i was debating on waiting till next fall for either a brand new mustang (don't shoot me) or brand new camaro...
Anyways, stumbled on 2005 SS Supercharged for 3,000$...hail damaged but everything else is running GREAT so i had to get her...
So, aside from the usual maintenance stuff, what else should i be aware of for taking care of the supercharger?
Thanks!

In this case, I disagree with GM. That supercharger oil needs regular fluid changes. Take Amy's advice and change it. I don't know the "best" interval for changing it, but I would imagine nothing wrong with every 30K miles.

I've yet to own a supercharger.... But I've heard of more then one method, but I think Wayne told me the BEST way ever. There is a "plug" on the top of the snout of of the SC. Remove the plug.
Get an empty hand lotion bottle (or something similar). Take the pump assembly out of the bottle and put the straw for the pump into the SC through the plug. Operate the pump to pump the fluid up, out and pump it right into the hand lotion bottle. As I understand, there is not much fluid in the SC (but I'm told it stinks something fierce).
Then, refill with the fluid GM recommends, put the plug back in and you should be done.
