Everything looks like everything else. That is why I like the retro styles. They don't look like the originals that much and they don't look like all the other cookie cutter cars. They are new and have style. How many different ways can you make an upside down egg? That is what everything else looks like.

 

I think it is a major step for any car maker to change there image...Cadillac successfully did it by going from an "old man's" car to a luxury performance brand...Olds tried to go from old mans to a lower luxery brand, but did not pull it off, Buick is currently doing the same, and Pontiac tried to be a cheap mans BMW but again could not pull it off....

Hyundai is trying hard, and as stated they are doing it by giving high end luxeury at a less expensive price.

As for similarities, many car companies take design ques from others

Jaguar has similar headlights to our montes IMO:




If one looks closely, there are also many similarities between the challenger and the camaro.
