Default I am Intrigued by this Craigslist Ad

SO I am always looking for cheaper cars that would get way better mileage then the Suburban's 10 mpg. I can't afford to fix the Camaro Yet so I just watch for stuff under 2000. I saw this ad and it is intriguing.

The pics look great and the description sounds nice.... And perhaps it's the "deal hunter" in me, but I think that price is a bit high for a '96 with that kind of mileage. Without checking it against KBB, I am guessing it's value is between $1000-$1400. The guy probably has room to wiggle if you want to haggle a little.

I know I was not to long ago looking at similiar types of ads in my area. I saw a '99 Regal with about 150K on it for $1600. And a couple other '99-'00 3800 N/A in the $1000-$1500 range.

But, if you look at the car in person and the underside is solid and it appears well cared for, then it could be worth what the guy is asking. Would have to see it to determine that for sure.
