The track on it since last evening is absolutely crazy. Slowed way down and zigzagged all over the place in the Gulf. Looks like it's just making landfall right now.

Actually that was the only damage that we had in our area. We didnt lose any power but a lot of Baton Rouge did. I just was driving around helping people and moving branches out of the road. The storm was lighter than I expected. BUT I dont have class until Tuesday so I guess thats a + .

Hi Mel, I hope that you can find one (it's a great investment to make if you live in an area that has severe weather/storms) Good Luck on finding one & a safe trip back to Home Sweet Home

Hi `DeRon, it's great that you avoided the Big One & didn't have any damage 4-Sure. Others were not so fortunate.
Over 700,000 without power & many homes flooded to the top ...It was great to read in your post that you were out helping others in need (It says a lot about your character & who you are)
Thanks Mel & DeRon for keeping `us updated.
Bad weather like this is always a reminder to me to enjoy the good days when they return...We are all so blessed in so many ways...I am Thankful 4-Sure...

I hope life for both of you & your family/friends returns to normal & a good life ~> EnJoy `amen Peace/Out

Hi DeRon, Mel & Member's in the path of the storms.
Update please

Mel, did you get home ?
DeRon, how are things in your area ?

It's great that some states are getting the rain that they need , but some got to much that they did not need

Mother Nature is not fair 2 `all 4-Sure
