How are the Roads in Your Area?
Talk about record cold and snowfall this winter. How are the roads in your area holding up to it all?
I know here in SE MI we're starting to see a lot of roads basically self destructing. It's starting to become really bad in certain areas and, honestly, this is just the beginning. I can't imagine what we're going to see when it starts warming up and we start getting these freeze/thaw cycles. I mean, Michigan is known for its bad roads but unfortunately due to this winter in particular I think we're going to see some epic cases come the next couple months. There's also a lot of sand and salt on the roads because of the massive amounts the County has had to throw due to all the snow. The salt dust is like driving through fog.
One area of Ann Arbor in particular is becoming known for it's hubcap shrine beside the road.
Here's some more of what we're currently dealing with in the area.

It's getting really bad here to, lots of pot holes opening up, But this being Vestal ( Very High Income Town) I notice literally about one a week they go around filling the pot holes which is handy.

Wow, that's brutal... ... Road repairs this year may take much longer in many areas... Here we are wet and windy and the road condition is OK due to very little snow fall...

Sad to say but we're used to it in Michigan. It's going to be exceptionally bad this year though.

>Sad State of Affairs 4-Sure<
Hi `Matt,
Another great Thread, but Sad Pictures of the Bad Roads & Pot Holes.
Many of our roads here in Florida need repairs, but it's nothing like you are enduring. It's good for the tire/suspension/shocks & new wheel business. Again, it's stressful to have a nice car in today's world. So many things you have to do to protect your nice rides.
I hope that you guys cities, counties > State can repair your roads.
Put the prisoner's to work on a chain gang with a shovel & some asphalt
