i work most of the year 11:00 pm - 7:30 am. over the summers they throw everyone onto day shift though, which is 7:00 - 2:30. after having my stupervisor check in about three dozen times a day this year, i can't wait to be back on nights!

Just something I threw together cuz I was bored. Two different versions. The second one would make an easier signature pic if the bottom half is cropped off.

AW Detroit looks better at night. Brings back some good memories Taz. I remember driving down the Windsor side looking at the Big D. And the smell of Whiskey in the air on Riverside Dr.

That's now an outdated picture. A couple months ago, GM put an illuminated blue stripe across the top of all the buildings at GM World Headquarters, using LED's. Looks really cool.

The square "GM" signs at the top of the center tower were changed to large LCD screens. The screens display each of GM's division logos in a regular rotation. Chevy, Buick, Cadillac, GMC, and the familiar blue GM corporate logo.

They also do special occasions too. When the Detroit Red Wings, Tigers, or Pistons are playing at home the screens display the team's logo. Plus, the blue stripes on the buildings are changed to the team's colors. Not sure what they're going to do with the Detroit Lions though. The screens were installed after the Lion's season ended. And as some of you may know, the Detroit Lions are owned by Ford. Might be some licensing issues there. Guess we'll find out when (or if) the next football season starts.

I only work nights when we do any major planned system updates so we don't interrupt people's work by shutting the networks down.
