Default How many on here excercise

Ok I try to do somethings to keep in shape. Like walking plus or minus 3 miles a day. Also when i'm at home lift weights a little. But now I'm working on my stomach muscles. I found out a good friend of mine has the stomach of a pro body builder. So I asked how they got that way. Found out she does Abdominal Crunches. 3 times a day. One set of 35 in one min 3 times a day. Geeez I guess I should do that before my shower! But I have this thing for flat stomachs. I lost about 22 lbs. So this is my new goal. Not sure I can do what she does just yet. But I'll give it a try. Wish me luck

No formal exercise program for me but I do use the stairs rather than the elevator most of the time at work. I also park in the furthest row from the shop so I have to walk farther.

Not calling anyone here old :p but I'm still pretty young in the scheme of things at 21. I lift weights and run on occassion now, mostly in the form of basketball couple times a week. This summer I will cut though and run every day along with doing insanity and lifting.

The excercise is only the half of it though, eating right is the other..however, I would suggest if you want to work on your core that you do something two days a week, and hit them a little harder, most lifting people will tell you to give your muscles 48 hours of recovery before hitting them again, because you are essentially tearing them apart when you lift.

As far as a program or anything like that, just keep it simple, crunches, double crunches, leg raises, russian twists, stuff like that..if it hurts you know your doing it right

Hi Rick & Welcome back home,
It's great to read that you are working out 4-Sure...It's the best investment in life that you can make 4 yourself...
Stick to it 4-Real & you will increase your time on Planet `Earth
My exercise is walking the warehouse every night from 7 PM to about 5 AM...Then I go to the office & try to do ten push `up with every post I make on the MCF until my shift ends between 10AM & noon or do hand weight's...I must ride my skateboard or walk over 10 miles + a day...Plus, I don't eat junk food (I lied, I do sometimes) I mostly eat fish/veggies & drink a lot milk or water...I'm try'in to cut back on coffee.... but I think I'm addicted
I sure hope you keep working out & eating right...The web has many great resources on what to eat & also on working out....Good Luck to You for Sure on living a healthy & happy life....It is your `Life 4-Real Sure..."Take good care"
Space/Out
