You can also find most TV shows as BitTorrent downloads about 24 hours after they aired.

I just have an antenna for TV (I don't watch enough to justify cable or a dish). Since the digital TV switch, I do need to upgrade my antenna (which sits in my attic, not on my roof). But we watch over the air stuff so infrequently and just download the shows, it doesn't really matter.
I download stuff and burn it to a re-writable DVD and pop it into the PS3 and watch, requires a little effort, but I feel we live the dream, the commercials have already been removed!! No fast forwarding for us!! lol! No commercials makes up for the time spent prepping the shows.

Good information to share Space. Today people truly have a choice for HOW they watch TV:
- Over the air
- Cable
- Dish
- AT&T U-Verse (I'm sure other phone companies offer something too)
- Internet based solutions

I'm sure there are others I'm not aware of.....

I have a few flat screen tv's with Vga connections and have hooked up the laptop on a few occasions to watch shows from the net. I have a computer i was gonna build into a media computer but I just haven't done it yet.
