I don't think that technology plays as much of a part in bad driving as much as inconsideration and lack of knowing the rules of the road. For example, yesterday I went to the store in my wife's van. As I was leaving the lot, I was waiting to turn right and there was a kid in a Pontiac G6 across from me waiting to turn left. As I went to go, he went to go also. This would not have been a problem if the kid was aware that he was supposed to turn into the CLOSEST lane to him. Instead, he turned into my lane and almost hit the front of my wife's van. Simple rules of the road and consideration for others. That's all it takes. Not to sound like too much of a jerk, but around here it seems like the kids (high school age) think that the world revolves around them and that everyone else should just get out of their way. What ever happened to defensive driving??

my favorite is when you have 2 left turning lanes, i'm in the right of the 2 lanes, and someone is to my left. Light goes green and we go, i go into my outer lane except the person to my left just drifts into my lane instead of staying in his own. Someone did that to me when i had air horns, and oh my that got their attention:p

What's even worse is when you get the triple offender. They're the ones that pull right out in front of you, then proceed to putt along at 25mph in a 40mph zone with their indicator still blinking.

Ahhh seattle mike, i was thinking that. Had it happen on my way to work. Someone was in a big hurry to jump out in front of me and then they just creep along.... I like my dads idea, just get a giant railroad tie, bolt it to the frame and when someone does it just ram them up to speed And i think that might be a combo breaker

I remember when GPS came out and people were crashing into stuff and running off roads because it told them to turn. Please people use technology responsibly.

I learned that early on - we were running late one morning so my dad wanted me to go start the car while he was finishing getting ready to leave - I mashed the petal to the floor about 5 or 6 times first. Long story short, I flooded it.
