Help Me Find My House!!!! (Credit Score/Possible Identity Theft issue)
No, I'm not drunk... and no, I'm not looking to buy a home.
I checked my credit today and Equifax asked me all these questions about a mortgage I took out in 2008 that is valued between $800-2500 a month apparently, along with who I took the mortgage out with. Well after I said "None of the above" to all of those questions, it locked it up where I have to send all this stuff with a copy of my license and social security cards to get my credit unlocked.
So where is my house? I didn't know I had one. I'd appreciate any and all help finding my lost home!!!!
Seriously, has anyone had trouble with their credit score like this though?

I remember they ask you that and you have to pick out the right answers like the payment amount and who it was with. But, since you dont have that acct, and answered none, hard to say why it locked up. maybe someone did.

They did that to me once. It was a year later before I was able to log in, all though my credit stunk and I never did call them on it. I eventually joined a credit monitoring service. I used that for about 2 years, but stopped when I lost my job. Sounds like a royal pain in the you know what.

I had my identity stolen by a former prisoner of mine. It was a huge PITA. The guy actually set up an allotment, in my name, in order to pay off a loan that he took out, in my name. Luckily, I caught it before any real damage was done. Unfortunately, I caught it before any real damage was done. I went through several different agencies and ended up getting kicked out of the FBI building in Lawton, OK. (long story) Because no actual loss occurred on my part, they were unable (Pronounced: unwilling) to further the investigation. This happened December 2009. I wish you luck, it's nothing that I would like to go through again.
