I drag raced as a kid.. (Street and strip)

However,
I have raced circle track for many many years until 1997 ...
at several local tracks, Mt Clemens Speedway (No longer there) Flatrock Speedway along with Toledo Speedway.

Street stock, Late Models and Super Late models...
Oh and a "few" demo derbys...

PS:
I have done some R&D for a cpl Professional Teams from Michigan..
However, I'm not at liberty to say who..

I used to street race every weekend until the wee hours of the morning when I was younger, there was a large group of us that would meet up and everyone would bring friends that thought their ride would be king of the night, and it was usually a great time until the cops would show up lol.

Never done any professional racing, but when I win the lottery I am going to go to vegas and rent one or three of the supercars and take them out on the track

Well I did use to race bmx bikes when I was really young but I don't really count that lol

I eat mustangs and civics on a regular basis. At the risk of sounding torretoish, that monte has yet to see a set of taillights

I raced a little when I was younger. Not the smartest move on my part but I didn't get caught. If I had been able to keep my 87 IROC I was going to race it on closed road courses. Now I'm thinking of setting up my 78 Camaro in a similar manner. Doesn't handle quite as well stock as the third gen Camaros but it can still be made to handle very well. Plenty of power under the hood. Drag racing just doesn't do much for me though.

Hi'Jen and Belated Happy B 'Day Yes, I've only raced on the street and a few times at the drags.

Today driving up from Miami to the spacecoast it seemed like I was in a race on I-95 (LOL)

No official racing, takes more money than I will ever have.

Did the one sanctioned SCCA autocross event once and surprisingly won. But I was so pissed at my Monte back then I did NOT care if I blew it up. And yet she held together under all the repeated passes and the rest is history.

As long as it is taken care of (obvious routine maintenance) They can handle the beating very well. Obviously not doing it constantly, but every now and then :P
