Happy Holiday Season!
Hey all,
Just wanted to wish all my MCF friends a Happy Holiday Season this year! I hope all of you have a safe time, dont drink and drive and spend time with your families.
Also my shameless plug.. Take a moment to remember those of us who are overseas who cant make it home this season. From a soldier who is safe at home, have a happy holiday season and come home safe!

Hi `Ian, and thank you for your wishes, & your Military Service.
[:-]
It's great to see you home safe, and back to your
Monte Carlo Family : )
Any luck on finding a Monte ?
I still believe in `Santa, maybe he will get you a Monte, since you've
been a Good Boy
Happy Holidays to you & yours,
Space, & the Gang

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
Especially all those in the service, who can't be with their loved ones at this time of year.
May the new year bring peace, happiness, and joy.

Merry Christmas to everyone here...it's a shame (and a puzzle) that the word "Christmas" itself has seemingly becomepolitically-incorrect nowadays.
Hyperfox - before you buy an 80's-something Monte, I'd like to suggest that you test drive an 06 SS before you take that plunge. I've been the older-car-as-a-daily-driver route many times, andhavefound that when maintenance is factored in, it can actually be cheaper to buy a newer car that's under warranty forever. If not cheaper, it is certainly less stressful.
I trade cars way too often, and usually lose money in the process. Therefore, please feel free to consider my advice as being BS.

Thanks Gale.
I have driven an 07 SS, and I can summarize that up with two words.. "I wish."
Fact of it is, I want to buy a rolling monte.. No engine or trans, so I can putter with it. My Dodge Grand Caravan is the daily driver, so this monte when it comes around will be more of a toy for me that I can put money into as it comes available.
Isn't it funny tho. The whole Christmas thing. I could rant, but I don't think this is the place to do that..

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!
Hmm....actually, I've had the opposite experience. Since I replaced my '00 LS (which got flooded) with my '87 MC LS in mid-2003, my monthly expenses have dropped considerably, especially since I don't have a car loan to pay off anymore....and the insurance premiums are considerably less.....
