Default GPS

Does anyone have one? My brother had one of his friends Escalades this weekend and that thing was slick. I am not so sure I want a fixed unit but I have been looking at the Roadmate 760 hand held unit. What do you guy's think?

Any suggestions??

Default RE: GPS

honestly there are a few options out there i have a hand held that is a older model and will be upgradeing shortly . But the one i have dont do the tracking like the new ones do and it wont tell you to turn in x amount of blks to get to wher eyour going.

But the first thing to look for is one that is easy to learn and easy for you to cary with you out of the car as a hand held.

I have personally been looking real serious at the Nav Systems for in the car. they are a fixed unit but man they are nice and have more then one function to them they are also upgraded abel easily.
And play DVD's if you would liek to see one on a long trip.

But as far as the hand helds there are some that the stand will mount to the dash (if you want it to) and then you just set it in the stand and take it out of the car when you leave .
I will ahve to figure out what brand it is that they have here and a model number but it is slick.

If i dont so the Nav. that would be my choice to They are cheap they are like 450.00Us over here for it. compared to 2000.00Us for the nav system

biggest thing is easy use and also what you want it to do. If you want it to talk to you then you can get that also in ahandheld.
Let us know as im sure some of us here are fighting the same issue As you are on it/
