Default Got new spark plugs and pcv valve

I'm assuming thats why mpgs had been on the low side i assume the pcv valve sends oil to the engine correct? my drums just needed to be cleaned and my brakes are back to working like normal. i'd assume he used ac delco plugs 160 bucks for new plugs pcv valve and repair cleaning/ resurfacing of drums

From what I read when I replaced the plugs in the Deuce.... for Montes always use the stock plugs which are AC delcos as far as gas milage it couldn't hurt for sure

It's my understanding that the PCV system is there to vent the crankcase of the blow-by gasses caused during combustion. I don't think it has anything to do with moving oil around.

Just don't use BOSCH spark plugs on a GM v6 (I'm sure it applies to a GM v8 as well). I've had too many BAD experiences with BOSCH plugs (and I've known many others in the same boat).

ACDelco is the best road for sure. BUT, fun fact, some ACDelco plugs are re-badged NGK (I have some factory original used AC plugs in the garage right now with dual branding). For the cost, I've gone to RockAuto and I've been using NGK Platinum plugs lately (after shipping they average to about $3 a plug via Rock, but locally, you can't get a Plat plug for less then $6). I used to use the cheapo copper AC plugs (last time I got them YEARS ago, they were like $1.25, now the cheap AC copper price is at least $2+, for that, go NGK Plat and get longer life).

I sold my '94 Grand Am (with a 3100) with NGK's put in a couple months before I sold it. My '02 Grand Am GT and my wife's '05 Impala (3400 cars) have been running NGKs I put it the week we bought the cars. Running AWESOME, no issues.

This is correct. But with the blow-by gasses you can get a little oil blow-by as well which makes your intake a mess that's why I deleted my pcv valve and installed a oil catch can in its place
