Default General Motors Corp.'s! This doesn't sound good.

DETROIT — General Motors Corp.'s (GM) disclosures that it lost $2 billion more last year than previously reported and needs more time to sort out accounting errors in the finance business it wants to sell gave investors fresh reasons to worry about the world's biggest automaker. They sent GM's shares price down nearly 5 percent Friday, shaving more than a half-billion dollars off its market value.

I agree that GM will not go completely under, but, if they don't start building cars that we want to drive these overseas brands are going to own the US market.

I thought I head Ford doing worse this last quarter than GM. Is that a good sign?

I don't think either is doing so hot right now.

I also have to say that I have seen the new Camaro model at some of the shows here lately and I am not a happy camper over the re-design from the original concepts.

I think GM is going to miss the boat on this one too...

Ya GM needs to get with the picture and make some new platforms. They need to start adding 4 cylinder engines to the impala, malibu, and equinox. At the same time they need to listen to the performance group of GM carbuyers and make a new RWD platform for the camaro and monte. I believe that if they made these two changes, they could gain major ground in the car business.
