I'm using Kaspersky IS, guess I'll find out if it's any good.
I used to use Norton IS and it saved my butt a few times but my Vista hated the Norton 360 so when I got that straightened out I tried the free AVG. I had problems with it too so now I'm trying Kaspersky.

AVG Free, and Avira Free are good free programs that keep updated and catch a good amount of viruses.

If you use AVG just make sure not to install the browser plug-in as firefox hates it.

But the typical, don't open emails that you don't know, don't run program files, etc. And you'll be fine.
