Default FWD Turboed 3800 Regal

So, I came across this video. I'm sure members like Turbo_Monte and Zippy02 will enjoy this (heck, they would probably want a track day with this guy).

It's not a Monte, but it's a close relative to the Monte product line. W-body Regal, FWD, 3800, modded with a turbo and lots of power.

Enjoy the video. BTW - I love that a Grand National has an appearance in this video!

Waiting for this 2nd one to come out, his first video is neat and has certainly made some rounds.

I have seen this video and that regal as well. It is a pretty sweet ride since no one would ever guess it is that quick. It does look a little bit cleaner since I saw the first video he made.

That is a pretty impressive regal, but I don't like it beating the grand national, I have always been a huge fan of the grand national lol

I can understand that. The Grand National is a beast of a turbo charged V6. But when you look at it, that FWD Regal started with non-turbo-ed motor and benefits from a wide variety of newer automotive tech then that Grand National had (even though I did see elsewhere that the Grand National in that video is modded).

Remember one rule about going fast:
- The deeper your pockets, the faster you can go.

In the end, that's a lot of what it comes down to, I'm sure the FWD Regal has a lot of money into it.

I do agree with you, 20+ years of technology goes a long way, but if I had the money I would jump all over a grand national in a heartbeat. But again I do agree I believe that guy has a lot of time and money invested in that regal, I don't believe it is as simple as bolting on the kit like he mentioned, I think he said it was about the same price as a set of tires and rims, but I also think he has a few more goodies lurking in the car that he is not showing, keeping in mind the whole point of his video is the car being a sleeper.
