I've seen a few people do what I did on my monte. They get a gt, with the 4.6's and slap a few badges on and expect to be the biggest baddest cars on the street but hey, my Monte keeps up with em' and sometimes gets the best of em'.

 

Interesting and very insightful theory. If you see a Shelby Cobra actually driving around, it's a kit car.
Goes along with the theory that real Shelby's only have one gear. Because the car only has to move fast enough to be loaded and unloaded from trailers, and drive past the Barrett-Jackson auctioneer.

 

Yeah, but wouldn't you do an even trade for one? Even if it only had a little 4-banger in it? I probably would. I could spend $5k and the thing would be a MONSTER! Also, they are gorgeous...

 

Awesome Story man! But, I'll trade you stories lol! On my way home a Semi hauling corn waste was driving past me and hit 3 big bumps and blew corn crap all over my car that I spent 3 hours cleaning today all slimy and chunky it made a freaking mess out of my car by the time I got home to spray it down and hand wash it... Gotta love living in Illinois!!

 

I would have totally lost it! Call DOT on his butt, something....stuff that can splash out should be sealed.
