Afternoon gang.
WOW! So was someone doing high speed, hard brakes and burning a flat spot??? That's the only way on modern tires I've heard of tires flat spotting. Either that, or they are REALLY old tires.
I second David's comments!!! Dang, that's just not cool. Hope you get an acceptable resolution to this Tad!

Hey Everyone! Happy Friday.
The transmission in my Monte went out yesterday...band on Overdrive broke. So it's in the shop getting a complete rebuild. Should be done by next Wednesday they say. Mileage on the original trans came in at 200,785.

Afternoon everyone, got a light dusting of snow in our area today, but on the positive the temps are warmer so a bit of good with the bad.
Mamonte, sorry to hear about your tranny
Tad sorry to hear about your tires, the dealer/shop should put new ones on for you considering it hasn't even been a week yet
and I know in our area part of the safety test on a vehicle is that they have to drive it down the road, so you would think they would have caught that prior to selling to you

Shaheens came through for me. They are reimbursing me the cost of the battery (ya the old one died during the -17* cold snap we had)
and they are going half of the cost on the two tires, as tires are not covered by the extended warranty, so I am getting them for half of their cost.
