Good evening everyone, been a busy busy week this week. 17 hour day yesterday but only a 10 hour day today

Went to the local dirt track wednesday night for the big block modified race nice turnout of teams and some pretty good racing. Sat at the top of the stand for the 100 lap feature and came home with dirt all over me lol, but it was worth it. Spent the extra money and got pit passes and toured the pits throughout the night watching the teams work on their cars in between heat laps and even met the driver that won the event at the beginning of the night. Also learned a little trick that they do, we were checking out the guys car that won, didn't know he was gonna win at the time, and he was spraying everything on the car down with a spray can, so after him sensing us watching and wondering what in the world he was doing he stopped and looked at us and said "it's tire shine" and then when he saw the "why" face we both made he advised us that they spray it on the car prior to each race so that they can get the mud off the car easier in between races. It worked, we met up with him after his first set of hot laps and he literally used a paint brush to whisk the dirt of the car.

Gonna try and spend a few hours on my car tomorrow and detail under the hood and do the interior again, so fingers crossed for a nice day.
