Good day after EV1!
Sounds like ev1 had a great xmas..!

It was a typical xmas here as lizzy had to work..Like Lou(TAZ)
Casino work takes the fun out of the holidays and enjoying quality family time.

Liz and I were invited to dinner with the neighbors(which we have done many times over the years) But they are also good friends..So, it was very enjoyable and filling..lol Jens brother even brought his Banjo... Yes he can play it and play it really well.

Then,
after we returned home.. We had a pleasant surprise, My stepson stopped by and had gifts for both lizzy and I.. and a "Family" gift. It was a book with shot glasses called shots and shooters...

Lots of crazy named drinks and ingredients. Things I never heard of before... Looks like we will have something to work with next time we go camping..

Space:
Hope your feeling at least a little better... Especially with the new meds to maybe give you some relief... I know what that kinda pain is like for sure and it never stops! One wrong move and every nerve in your body reacts and it seem as though it will never stop..

Sounds like you had a nice Xmas also...I'm sorry that you can relate to the pains & yes med's do mellow them `out. I can only imagine the pains that you have & still endure. : (


I go for another MRI or Xrays next week & I hope I get my next surgery soon.

It was good to read that your step-son visited with gifts & that you enjoyed.

Wish you & Member's a great after Xmas `day...Enjoy the bounties that we are blessed with. We sure had all types of food @ our place & really 2 much company. Today has been peaceful...Bum Mike & Tommy are at the beach & going to hit some waves or just check out the pretty ladies. (I wish I could `be @ the beach), but I will really appreciate it more once I am back on my feet.
It's about 80 degree's 2day...The beach is crowed with tourist & visitors.


They had a Santa Surf the other day & hundreds showed up

 

Space:
Did you know they have wheel chairs for the beach?
Some beachs even have them on hand!
I first experienced one at a beach in Virginia as well as North Carolina!
Sure did make my experience more pleasureable.
Something to consider!
That way.
At least you don't/wont have to miss out on still enjoying the beach as there out there surfing.
Hope your MRI and Xrays are good news about your healing process.

Yes, I know about them, but my g/f won't let me go out & play > She knows how the Bum's & I are when we are out 2gether (LOL) I just can't risk bumping my leg/ankle at this stage of the healing process. You don't know how much I want to, but I shall survive & enjoy the beach all the more after I'm healed `up...

The Bum's would tie me to a four wheeler & be pulling me in2 the ocean (LOL) We've been banned from the beach
many times for our antic's (LOL)

Space, the santa surf looks like it was a good time, I would love to go to one of those events, not to surf, as I have never done it, though I have snowboarded in the past, but that experience was not as fun as I was hoping lol, I would go about 5 feet then fall, then get up and repeat the process lol, so I went back to regular skis

Hope your enjoying the nice weather, we basically have lost all of our snow here over the past few days, which I am not complaining about at all lol, but we still have the worst yet to come as January has traditionally been the worst month for weather in my area

David, those beach wheelchairs look like they would make enjoying the beach so much easier. I have not seen them up here, but we don't have a lot of beaches, mostly at the lake's in my area, which there are a lot of, but the St. Lawrence doesn't have too many public beaches, most of the prime real estate that has any type of a beach is owned by private people, that don't enjoy people just showing up for the day lol

I do think of you often & realize just a few things that you must have to encounter & endure. I have also learned that they are so many more out there in our World that have it so much worse then you or I do...

I've seen so many young men that have returned from combat with no limb's, or sight etc. I've learned to accept my limitations and I'm just thankful to `be & hopefully be able to return to a active life. (I may always have limitations & maybe not be able to do anymore skateboarding), but that's so minor compared to what you have endured & have to deal with everyday. There are the millions of other's that are out there on our planet that have it so much worse : (...

We can't take life 4-granted 4-Sure...I don't & I hope that you & our member's don't either....OK, lets get back to having fun & just block out our pains (?) Easier said then done sometimes

evening all, not a smooth day at work. Trying to find someone to hang out with this evening, but i dont really have any friends local so i'll probably be stuck home.
