That's a car woman right there.

Too bad she doesn't think any of her grandchildren could take care of the car properly...

She had the Mercury through 3 husbands, and all sorts of other life events too. And if she was 70 years younger, I'd take my chances and marry her!!

Amazing run that car has had... and a car woman too!!!

Any woman out there like that who can take care of a husband too? I'm on the market....

I remember seeing the original video a while ago, poor women. But amazing how long a car will last when they're taken care of. Too bad no one wants to take care of the car after her

It is an amazing story and proof that if you take care of a car it will last. I'd like to see the maintenence records on it to see how many engine and transmission rebuilds the car has had. Most people ditch their car because one or the other needs repair or rebuild. I have trouble believing that a four door Mercury Comet with that many miles would appraise for 12000 dollars. I doubt she will find a buyer anywhere near that. If she is looking for a caretaker for the car I am close to her and would keep it running and driving.

Simply amazing ... and hard to believe it has been 2 years since her appearance on Leno. Sure hope he buys that car!
