Hey everyone....I've been on a prolonged sabbatical - so long I was wondering if I need to restart at the new members forum lol! I've moved from Texas to Denver, Colorado and I have to say, i'm surprised that the SS is doing as well as it is in the snow. It's my daily driver (for now) and I'm falling back in love with her again. New rear struts, rebuilt tranny and a bunch of small things add up to enjoyable driving again. New struts on the front Friday, which I cannot WAIT for! I'm at 149,000 miles and they are totally shot. Next week I need to replace the steering rack, and that is also going to alleviate a wicked grinding noise on right turns...Glad to be back on the forums, I have found the cure to a few issues over the last year....don't know what I'd have done without the experience on here...Anyway, see ya'll around!

Good morning guys. Couple huge Olympic things, both are very big deals...

1. Men's Curling - This morning, USA men's curling just beat Canada 5-3 in the semifinals and will play for a gold medal. This is the furthest USA men's curling has made it at the Olympics and their first time playing for gold. They won bronze in 2006 Turin Olympics.

2. Women's Hockey - Yesterday, USA women's hockey beat Canada 3-2 for the gold medal! USA women have not won Olympic gold since 1998. Canada women have won the past four Olympic golds.

Pyeongchang 2018 - Day 14 - Medal count (as of this post)
Norway - 35
Germany - 25
Canada - 24
United States - 21
Netherlands - 17

I've only driven mine through one winter, the first year I had it. They're not bad in the snow, you just have to learn to be incredibly light on the gas pedal.

Good morning guys, 25 days til spring!

Another historic day for the USA at the Olympics yesterday. The women's cross country team won gold in the women's team sprint and it came down to a nail-biter at the finish - first USA cross-country skiers to medal at the Olympics since Bill Koch in 1976. Skip to 3:45 for the end stretch in the video...

Evening everybody!
It's warming up slowly. A couple days ago, I saw a number of people draining their pools. So I guess that's one sign of spring. Haven't seen anyone detailing their cars yet. And the "fun" cars haven't come out of hibernation yet either. But soon. It's gonna be awkward not detailing the Monte for the first time.

Good morning everyone! 2 more days til March and 21 days til spring! Another nice sunny day here today and we're suppose to approach a high of 60 degrees. Probably around 50 days til I get the Monte 'out out' for summer but I will probably change the oil and run/move it before then.
