And yes, that was a 1970 Chevelle SS454... how could you have missed that JJ..... lol~lol.
The muscle cars were an 80- something Monte Carlo (too modded out to see exactly what), a 70 Chevelle, a 68 Charger, a 72 Gran Torino (bad guys car), a 72 Camaro (bad guys car)... thats all I can remember off the top of my head.
Lisa knew right off hand that it was a 70 Chevelle. Her father had a black on black,396, stick, hard top.

The Buick is actually a GNX. There is an article in the May issue of Hot Rod magazine by Dennis McCarthy, who coordinated all 240 vehicles in the movie, including 1 true blue real bad *** 528 Hemi Charger. There were 6 Chargers all together. One with the hemi, one engineless buck, and 4 small block/turbo 400 cars.
The GNX that was driven backwards had the body mounted backwards on the chassis. They had to remove the turbo to make it fit. There were 6 other GNs made up as GNXs, and 2 with a small blocks.
It's an interesting article for anyone interested in automotive carnage, but it breaks my heart to see the destruction of these old classics, even the GNs.

That's why I just can't bring myself to watch any of the F&F movies.
I can't stand to see all those great cars destroyed like that. Even some of the ricers.
I'm not a big fan of ricers. But I'm a car guy. And some of those cars looked pretty cool in their own way.
Knowing that each car on screen is actually many cars of the same make and model all done up to look the same. That just multiplies the carnage.
Knowing that all those older (and rare) cars have been destroyed and went to the crusher after the movie was done filming, just makes me sick to my stomache.

GN owners PLUS 4th gen Monte owners who would sell their wife to have the GN parts on their Montes.
