That didn't answer your question?

Keane is right, 00-04 use the high beams at 50% power for the DRLs

I know they mean well by including DRLs. And it was designed with safety in mind. I just wish the powers that be would quit regulating common sense, and give the driver the ability to turn his/her headlights on and off when they please. Without having to cheat the car's BCM.

Let the operator (the driver) operate the car. I'm tired of me as a driver being turned into a passenger with a steering wheel. Give me control of my car back!

I agree, especially with the fact that I can not turn my headlights off without restarting the car with the e brake on. All our other gm cars, DRL's can be disabled as can auto lights

On my Camaro I have the option to turn them off. It's on the dial with the auto lights.

Maybe GM got tired of everybody asking about day time running lights .

Sadly I think that option might be disabled in Canada. DRL's are mandatory here.

I leave them on.

I hate when cars don't have DRLs because most morning on my way to work there are a couple "kind of blind" corners that I turn out into. DRLs really help me see people, so I figure they might want to see me too.
