Keselowski Over Mackinac Bridge
I posted this in the Blog yesterday but I thought I'd share in its own post. Michigan native Brad Keselowski took some time here in Michigan and crossed the Mackinac Bridge this past Wednesday, May 29th. He was granted permission to do so in honor of his championship and to promote Nascar racing at Michigan International Speedway. He crossed the 5 miles of bridge from the Lower Peninsula to the Upper Peninsula and paid a bridge fair, $4 for passenger vehicles, just like everyone else. The event was hosted by the Mackinac Bridge Authority (MBA), in cooperation with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and Michigan International Speedway (MIS). Here's a video and some pictures from Michigan Department of Transportation's Facebook page below.
The Bridge supports are normally lit in white light at night but will be lit blue, in honor of Brad's championship, until the Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway on June 16th.

Honestly it doesn't look/sound like they did anything to the car. It's got the standard Goodyear slicks on it. May not be an actual car the team races but it looks very close. I haven't found any info on the car itself that Brad drove over the Bridge. The toll booth guy is absolutely yelling over the engine, haha.

I know winds through the Straights can get crazy strong sometimes but I don't think that was really an issue on Wednesday when he crossed.
