Daytime Running Lights - Help!

RE: Daytime Running Lights - Help!
Actually, at least on the newer MC's if your sitting in the driver seat there is a photo sensor located just left of the defrost vent on your dash that controls when your DLR's go on and off. I simply moved that sensor to a dark area in the dash. I have heard of other taping off prongs on the DLR relay to making a little rubber cap to cover the sensor. Once you hid your sensor the DLR's will still remain on till you turn on your parking lights. I always run mine with the parking lights on with my fogs running. I think it looks much better that way. I posted a how to get to the photo sensor somewhere here. I'll look it up and post a link...

Yes, you can IF you have a 1999 or older Monte! I have a 2003 and on the 2000 (I believe) and newer models, the "check engine light" will come on. I had a 1999 Monte and all i had to do was take out that fuse for the DRLs and it will put the kabash to the DRLs AND it will also dissconect the auto on headlights. Good luck if you have a newer Monte! Place a post here if you do and find a way to dissconect those pesky things!
