you would think that having that extra pipe would reduce the hp, but i guess not, what about an x-pipe, wouldn't that be a little less resistant??

Let meemphasize againthat we are talking about a 2 into 1 into 2.
I don't know the dyno numbers on adding a cross over as I drew it from a Y connection.
i'm not 100% sure on how they actually work, but i know the guyz with the 50-70's hot rod's are doing x pipes right after the headers to gain horsepower but i'm not sure what it does for sound

If you like the sound, would dynamat in the cab help with the interior noise? I have not used it myself so I don't know.
