run a new wire from the alternator to the battery along with the factory wire, it will keep your battery and 14.5 volts at all time. also run another ground wire from the battery to the frame because the factory ground blows

 

or instead of running 2nd wires you could just run a lower guage wire...that way it doesn't look so cluttered under the hood with wires...

 

yeah you could do that but i wrap it with a cover so it looks good

 

or you could get a HO alternator and some batcaps and not hafta worry bout it. but its your decision

 

yah wrap it it wire loom ...never thought of that...that looks good too plus you can get colored stuff too

or ya do like i di Run a Cap in to the system witch will allow the system to have enough power when it needs it to have it.

and also lower guage wires to all of it and three grounds.
Dont for get to run one step down on the guage to the head lights and the ground also as it will make your head lights briter.
I did this on the Fogs Also. not sure how much it helps LOL
But after all was said and done i ahve had no issues with my system till i shipped it and the indagents that they foudn to work tehre screwed it up for me

 

no the second wire wont fry anything it just causes the battery to charge faster and helps keep the volts up rather than spending a bunch of money buying a new cap or something
