My boss got all the employee's a Power Ball Ticket
We decided to share if anyone of us won..
We all signed a agreement (just in case: )with our #'s
Now, we are all just dreaming..
I think it's worth a $2, just to be able to dream about

Powerball excitement hoists jackpot to $300M for Saturday

The Powerball jackpot has hit an estimated $300 millionto a single annuity winner. Georgia Lottery officials announced today that strong sales raised Saturday's jackpot from $290 million.
With a growing jackpot, the excitement is spreading across Georgia.
The jackpot has grown since June 26 and has rolled 11 times.
Powerball offers two jackpot payment options: the $300million annuity prize paid over 29 years in 30 graduated payments; or the cash option, which is approximately $172 million.
Powerball tickets are $2 per play. Players can add the Power Play feature for an additional $1 per play to multiply non-jackpot prize winnings.
As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Powerball will benefit education in the state of Georgia.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.2 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.

I have vowed to myself to never buy a lottery ticket. Yea, if I tried and won it would be amazing but I don't want to waste my money on something I'll probably loose out on when I can use it on something else..

TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- No one won last Saturday night's POWERBALL August 3, 2013 jackpot, so the estimate for the Wednesday, August 7, 2013 jackpot has now grown to $400 million ($230.3 million cash value).
When is Wednesday night's POWERBALL drawing? The over a third-of-a-billion dollar POWERBALL drawing will take place at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time / 9:59 p.m. Central Time / 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time.

On Saturday, no Power Play winners matched 5 of 5 numbers. There were, however, two winners from Florida and Texas who matched 5 of 5 numbers to win $1 million.
The overall odds of winning the POWERBALL jackpot are 1 in 175,223,510.

My work took a collection and far be it I not chip in (knowing my luck, if I didn't, they would win and I'd be the only one left lol).
Every Friday me and 2 friends play MegaMillions ($5 each). We have a small strategy that revolves around playing the same numbers and just some whacking coincidental data I collected a couple years back.
If I was part of a winning group, well, I'm not sure I'd give up a day job (most lotto winners go broke doing that). I think I'd pay off the house, the wife and I buy a couple expensive selfish things and then the greater percentage, find a method to invest it so we live off the return on investment. Even if it means it helps with a retirement plan (hopefully an early retirement plan lol).
