I live in the northeastern suburbs of St.Louis, and while the crime is somewhat high and the weather usually sucks, its really not that bad around here.

Here's some crappy cell phone pics of my friends and I out on the big Mississppi on a beautiful autumn evening.

and here's where i want to live:

this is a birds eye of the entire town

population of about 75,000 ish it's right on the edge of the rockies pretty much in a place called the fraser valley. the fraser river runs through the town and towards the west coast where it goes into the sea.

when your there your surrounded by mountains. there is dozens of hiking trails which leads me to my next picture. and sorry it's huge.

it's about a 2 hour hike to get to this lake.it's called lindeman lake. and it's so clear you can see the bottom. if you ever make it to chilliwack someday. i recommend this hike.

ontop of that your 1 hour outside vancouver BC. and are within 30min - 2 hour drive from an assortment of ski hills. including good old whistler BC. and there is another lake (cultus lake) and another river (vedder river). the vedder river is where i spent most of my summers on a tube going through the rapids. (beer required).

anyway thats a brief of where i want to move back to eventually. just too much money to be made here in calgary.

OH and calgary well you have seen pictures already. but here is my MC, and the downtown core.

Hi `Matt,
I just took a break from my school work, and jumped on the
MCF to check posts.
Thanks for taking the time for posting your awesome `pic's.
I really loved them all, but the one in the Yellow Stone
National Park, is how I envision `Heaven.
I can't wait for my long awaited `Road Trip, to see all these
super places in North America.
I sure hope the other member's that are reading this, takes
the time to post some pic's,&share the area that they live, and drive
their Monte Carlo.
I've always had cars as my ScreenSaver, but I'm
goingreplace the cars with theYellow Stone Picture.
Oh, and dream of fish'in that awesome look'in stream
I can fully understand that it's aplace that you would like
to live...
PeaceOut, `Space

The only reason I like where I live is...the scenery..otherwise the people suck around here. I was born and raised in tornado alley...I miss it..people are so warm in the Midwest

well Space... I think you will enjoy a trip across the US.... I've been to 20 states, and I have seen many things I liked and some things I didn't care much for... but every place I've been in America has something special to offer, and I have never seen anything I absolutly hated (although Chicago traffic comes very close). Space.. you will certainly enjoy seeing all the US has to offer, the beaches, the mountains, the prairies... Just don't rush thru any of it... enjoy it all if possible. This is one thing I regreat about going the places I've been... I rarelly get a chance to stop and relax, meet people, and throughly enjoy my stay (although I have a few times.)

Good Travels...

Cowboy Duane
